Electrical Control Board

The Electrical Control Board will hold as many electrical components as I can ‘jam on it’. Sounds like a hip-hop song.

Here is the hole saw and the 4" hole it cut in the 1/2" thick fiberglass, plexiglass board. That hole cutter is handy but dangerous. Four small holes and the controller cooling fan is installed on the underside of the board.

Started with 1/4″ thick smoked color Plexiglas 14″ X 22″ and I was given a piece of 1/4” electrical board fiberglass 13″ X 22″ to go under it. So I started with this now 1/2″ thick board bolted to a piece of my 2″ x 2″ angle iron on the back side.
The idea is to create this board that could be lifted up on the front, pivoting or hinged at the rear to access the motor etc under the board. Need to keep these various parts dry, cool and protected. They include the
Controller, 2 contactors, KLK fuses, relays, inertia switch, shunt pot box and Anderson disconnect.

I went to Lowes and purchased every size electric box I might need and plan on carrying back all I don’t use.
