Purchased a Elcon PFC 500  a 5000 watt HF/PFC battery Charger for about $1500 from EVA a couple of months ago. Installed the charger into the trunk of the Saturn and have been pleased with its charging quick and even voltage of pack after charge.

Some likes about the Elcon 5000

• The top voltage can be changed from 171 volts to 180 volts. With a 48 pack system that would be 3.56 to 3.75 volts.
• 520v Algorithm – V1= .1 volt, V2= .37volt, V4= 1 volt, Phase 1=AH/34, Phase 2 AH/1 (maximum Amps), Phase 3 AH/50
• Can charge with 110 or 220 AC voltage
