I charged the battery for 40 minutes or so and checked again the workings of the contactors.
I Shut the hood.
(it all fit in without an added hood scoop)
Shutting the hood has meaning and how you shut it, like shut it with confidence.
We sat down and ‘fired that mother up’. Well, turned on the key, opened the shop door, headlights, pushed on the accelerator and heard the Curtis controller ring. It does it on 5% throttle or less.
Wheels started rolling and we drove around the block. Clutch is not releasing (another hour’s project) brakes are stiff without the vacuum system. Drives NICE, power to 35 seems like a 4 cylinder engine.
